The Facility

Hot Rocks Climbing Wall has a number of different climbing and related activity areas, each with corresponding safety considerations and mitigations that need to be address before any activity is undertaken.

The Top Rope Wall

18ft high, 6 rope lines, 36(ish) climbs, vertical

Top rope wall

A rope and belay system is used to protect the vertical climbing
For traversing a spotter is advised.

The Lead Wall


22-25ft high, 9 rope lines, 45(ish) climbs, lead and top rope climbing, 15°- 30° overhanging

13ft of climbing, 50°-70° overhanging, 30 routes topping out at Font 7a/7b
